<p>६ असार, कोहलपुर ।<br>सल्यानको सल्लीबजार नजिकबाट भेरी नदीमा बस खस्दा एक जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ भने अरु दुई जना गम्भीर घाइते भएका छन् ।</p><p>घाइते भएकाहरुको कोहलपुर मेडिकल कलेजमा उपचार भइरहेको इलाका पहरी कार्यालय कोहलपुरले जनाएको छ ।</p><p>आइतबार बिहान ६ बजे सुर्खेतको धारापानीबाट सल्लीबजार जाँदै गरेको ना ४ ख ५९,४४ नंको बस भेरी नदीमा खसेको थियो ।</p><p>दुर्घटनामा बसधनी रामबहादुर खड्काको उपचारका क्रममा कोहलपुरमै मृत्यु भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।</p><p>बस सडकबाट झन्डै २०० मि तल भेरी नदीमा खसेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।<br><br></p>

<p>६ असार, महोत्तरी ।<br>अत्यधिक मदिरा सेवनबाट महोत्तरीमा तीन जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ ।<br><br>मृत्यु हुनेमा महोत्तरी जिल्लाको सहसौला गाविस–६ बस्ने ७० वर्षीय रामवृक्ष मल्लिक, उनका छोरा ४० वर्षीय प्रकाश मल्लिक र गौशाला नगरपालिका–७ का पञ्च मल्लिक रहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय महोत्तरीले जनाएको छ ।<br><br>गएराति सहसौला चोकमा अवस्थित विनोद महराको मदिरा पसलमा अत्यधिक मधिरा सेबन गरेर घर गएका उनीहरूको आज बिहान २ बजेदेखि ४ बजेको बीचमा घरमै मृत्यु भएको प्रहरी श्रोतले जनाएको छ । <br><br></p>
३६ नक्कली डाक्टरलाई थुनेर अनुसन्धान गर्न ५ दिनको अनुमति
<p>६ असार, काठमाडौं ।<br>जिल्ला अदालत काठमाण्डौले नक्कली प्रमाणपत्रका आधारमा पक्राउ परेका ३६ जना चिकित्सको वारेमा थप अनुसन्धान गर्न नेपाल प्रहरीको केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्यूरोलाई ५ दिनको म्याद थप गरेको छ ।</p><p>सिआइबीले ‘अपरेसन क्वाक’ नाम दिएर सञ्चालन गरेको कारवाहीमा देशका विभिन्न दश जिल्लावाट नक्कली प्रमाणपत्र भएको आरोपमा ३६ जना चिकित्सलाई पक्राउ गरेको थियो ।<br><br></p>

<p>६ असार, काठमाडौं ।<br>संसद अवरोध गर्दै सरकारमाथि खनिंदै आएको नेपाली काँग्रेसले संसदीय सुनुवाई नियमावली मस्यौदाको संयोजक पाउने भएपछि छलफल विनै पारित गर्न सघाएको छ ।<br><br>व्यवस्थापिका संसदको आइतबारको बैठकले संसदीय सुनवाई समिति सम्बन्धि नियमाबली पारित गरेको हो ।<br><br>व्यवस्थापिका संसदको आजको बैठकले संसद नियमावली, २०७३ को मस्यौदालाई बहुमतले पारित गरे हो । नियमाबली अनुरुप सुनुवाई समिति १५ सदस्य भएको हो ।<br><br>समितिमा नेपाली काँग्रेसका ६, एमालेका ४, नेकपा माओवादी केन्द्रका २, मधेशी जनअधिकार फोरम लोकतान्त्रिकका १ र राप्रपा नेपालका १ गरी १४ सदसीय रहनु भएको छ । एकजनना पछि मनोनयन गरिने छ ।<br><br>जस अनुसार अनिताकुमारी परियार, अष्टलक्ष्मी शाक्य, आनन्द ढुङ्गाना, कूलबहादुर गुरुङ, गणेशमान गुरुङ, चीनकाजी श्रेष्ठ, चित्रलेखा यादव, धर्मनाथप्रसाद साह, डा प्रकाशसरण महत, बालकृष्ण खाँड, भानुभक्त ढकाल, योगेन्द्र चौधरी, हितराज पाण्डे, सयेन्द्र वान्तवा रहनुभएको सभामुख ओनसरी घर्तीले बैठकमा पढेर सुनाउनु भयो ।<br><br>बैठकमा व्यवस्थापिका संसदको नियमावली मस्यौदा समितिका सभापति राधेश्याम अधिकारीले व्यवस्थापिका संसद नियमावली, २०७३ को मस्यौदा प्रतिवेदन पारित गरियोस भन्ने प्रस्ताव बैठकमा प्रस्तुत गर्नुभएको थियो ।<br><br>प्रमुख प्रतिपक्षि दल नेपाली काँग्रेसले पुरानै संरचना अुनसार समिति ७५ सदस्यीय हुनुपर्ने र सत्तारुढ नेकपा (एमाले) र नेकपा माओवादी केन्द्रले नयाँ संविधा अनुरुप १५ सदस्यीय हुनुपर्ने अडान राख्दै आएका थिए । <br><br>संसदीय सुनुवाइ समितिको पहिलो बैठक सोमबार बिहान बस्दैछ ।<br><br>व्यवस्थापिका संसदको नियमावली २०७३ पारित भए पछि पत्रकारहरुसंग कुराकानी गर्दै सभामुख ओनसरी घर्तीले दलहरुले सहमतिका आधारमा नियमावली पारित गरेर सकारात्मक संदेश दिन सफल भएको बताउनुभयो ।<br><br>समितिको पहिलो बैठक समितिका जेष्ठ सदस्यको अध्यक्षतामा भोली विहान ८ बजे बस्ने र थप कार्यविधि समितिले बनाउने सभामुख घर्तीले जानकारी दिनुभयो । <br><br>व्यवस्थापिका–संसद्को आइतबारको बैठकको विशेष समयमा नेपाली काँग्रेसकी सांसद कमला पन्तले सरकार जनताका महत्वपूर्ण सवाल र जनजीविकामा उत्तरदायी हुन नसकेकाले जिम्मेवार बनाउन सभामुखबाट निर्देश हुनुपर्ने माग गर्नुभयो ।<br><br>सांसद भूपेन्द्र क्षेत्रीले जेठ २५ गते ताप्लेजुङ नगरपालिकामा गएको पहिरोमा ज्यान गुमाएकाका परिवारलाई उचित राहतको व्यवस्था गर्न सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराउनु भयो ।<br><br>सांसद ओङ्दी शेर्पा, दुर्गा पौडेल, रामेश्वर ढुङ्गेल र रामचन्द्र पोखरेलले भूकम्प, पहिरो र बाढीबाट पीडितहरुलाई तत्काल पुनाःस्थापनाको व्यवस्था मिलाउन आग्रह गर्नुभयो ।<br><br>सांसद प्रेम सुवाल र राममणि विडारीले शान्तिप्रक्रियालाई तार्किक निष्कर्षमा पु¥याउने काममा सरकारले ढिलासुस्ती गरिरहेको बताउनु भयो ।<br><br>त्यसैगरी, सांसद् बलराम अधिकारीले कपिलवस्तु घटनाका बलात्कारीलाई कानुनी दायरामा ल्याउन माग गर्नुभयो । सांसद सुरेन्द्र प्रकाश जयसवालले रौतहटका ऊखु किसानका समस्यामा सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराउनु भयो ।<br><br>सांसद गोपाल दहितले आन्दोलनरत दलको समस्या समाधान गर्न सरकार उदासीन रहेको र मधेसी गठबन्धनलाई फुटाउन उद्दत रहेको आरोप लगाउनु भयो ।<br><br>साँसद तीर्थराज भाट र नवराज शर्माले भूकम्प र पहिरोपीडितलाई जतिसक्दो चाँडो राहत पु¥याउन सरकारसँग माग गर्नुभयो । <br><br></p>
गिरान्चौर बस्ती निर्माणमा धुर्मुस सुन्तलीलाई जापानबाट ८ लाख सहयोग (नामावली सहित)

Three die, one serious after consuming poisonous alcohol
<p>Three die, one serious after consuming poisonous alcohol<br><br>Three persons have died, while one is in serious condition after drinking contaminated locally made poisonous alcohol in Mahottari district today.<br><br>All of them had consumed the booze and pork meat at a shop of local Binod Mahara.<br><br>Police informed that three men died after falling unconscious at around 2 am today.<br><br>Preliminary investigation suggests that the alcohol was poisonous.<br><br>The shop owner is on the run after the incident, police said adding that they are further investigating the case.<br><br></p>
36 fake doctors under investigation
<p>The district court has provided additional five days to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) to further probe into the 36 doctors who were arrested on charge of showing fake academic credentials<br><br>CIB informed that an investigation is underway after seeking judicial custody from Kathmandu District Court.<br><br>Preliminary investigation reveals that 35 out of 36 had joined the job showing duplicate certificates obtained from different schools of Indian state of Bihar.<br><br></p>
Quake victims still in problem: NHRC
<p>The National Human Rights Commission has expressed concern over the failure to ensure basic human rights to earthquake survivors even one year after the disaster. <br><br>A high-level team under the leadership of NHRC member Govinda Poudyal recently carried out monitoring of Gorkha, Dhading, Nuwakot and Rasuwa district and found that even basic human rights of the quake survivors were at risk. <br><br>Issuing a press release today, the NHRC said that survivors in all the quake-affected districts have been facing problems while some victim families in Gorkha have not received the Rs 15,000 provided by the government. <br>The NHRC also requested to coordinate among bodies concerned to provide grant assistance in an easy and smooth manner.<br><br>Kin of Lalitpur gas explosion victims submit memo, demand compensation<br><br>The families of those killed in a cooking gas explosion in May 20 at Gaugal in Lalitpur Sub Metropolitan City-19 submitted a memorandum to the Minister for Commerce and Supplies Ganesh Man Pun, demanding compensation today. <br><br>Suresh Tamrakar, Dhruba Tamrakar and Rahesh Tamrakar were killed when a cooking gas of HP Company exploded. They were working at a copper and silver company in the capacity of craftsmen when the incident occurred. <br><br>The memo demands an increment in the compensation amount to be given to the bereaved families for the damage of properties to Rs 5 million from the existing Rs 1.5 million. <br><br>Likewise, the demand said that the license of the concerned cooking gas company should be scrapped. <br><br>In response, the Minister said that the government was concerned with the demands of the victim families and that the process would be initiated to compensate the victim and take action against the guilty. <br><br>He also pledged the Ministry would deploy a team including experts to examine the quality of liquefied petroleum gas for further investigation into the case. <br><br></p>
Parliament hearing committee to meet Monday
<p>The first meeting of the parliamentary hearing committee is to be held at the Speaker's chamber tomorrow morning.<br><br>Talking in brief to journalists after the Legislature-Parliament Regulations 2073 was endorsed today, Speaker Onsari Gharti expressed the confidence that the parliament proceedings would now move ahead effectively with the regulations in place.<br><br>Thanking political parties for the responsibility shown in endorsing the regulations, Speaker Gharti expressed the belief that the consensus and understanding would continue in the days ahead.<br><br><br></p>
Seven member task force to resolve NSU problem
<p>A seven-member task force been formed to resolve any disputes in the lead up to the Nepal Students' Union's 11th general convention.<br><br>The task force led by Lila Ballav Dahal will resolve all outstanding issues on the basis of consensus and present a report to the central committee within a month, according to a statement issued by NSU central president Ranjit Karna today. <br><br><br></p>
Parliament regulations finally endorsed
<p>The parliamentary regulations have been finally endorsed with a decision to have a 15-member parliamentary hearing committee.<br><br>The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today endorsed the draft of the Legislature-Parliament Regulations 2073 through voice vote. Chairperson of the regulations drafting committee Radheshyam Adhikari had tabled a proposal at the meeting seeking tabling of the regulations. <br><br>The main opposition Nepali Congress was in favour of 75 members in the hearing committee as per old structure while the CPN (UML) and CPN Maoist Centre had stressed that there should be only 15 members in the committee as per the new constitution.<br><br>At the meeting, Speaker Onsari Gharti read out members of the newly formed parliamentary hearing committee.</p><p>The members of the committee are Anita Kumari Pariyar, Asta Laxmi Shakya, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Kul Bahadur Gurung, Ganesh Man Gurung, Chinkaji Shrestha, Chitra Lekha Yadav, Dharmanath Prasad Shaha, Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Bal Krishna Khand, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, Yogendra Chaudhary, Hitraj Pandey and Sayendra Wantawa.
