<p>नेपालमा क्यान्सर रोगका बिरामी बढ्दै गएको एक तथ्याङ्कले देखाएको छ ।
बिपी कोइराला मेमोरियल क्यान्सर अस्पतालको तथ्याङ्कअनुसार हाल नेपालमा करिब ५० हजारभन्दा बढी क्यान्सरका बिरामी रहेका छन् ।</p><p>
नेपालमा हालसम्म पनि कति क्यान्सरका रोगी छन् र बर्सेनि कतिको मृत्यु हुन्छ भन्ने आधिकारिक तथ्याङ्क नभए पनि विश्व स्वास्थ्य सङ्गठनको तथ्याङ्क मान्ने हो भने वार्षिक ३० देखि ३५ हजार नयाँ बिरामी देखा पर्छन् ।</p><p>
अस्पतालका अध्यक्ष डा प्रकाशराज न्यौपानेले यही अवस्था रहिरहे यो सङ्ख्या आगामी अझ बढ्न सक्ने बताउनुभयो ।</p><p>क्यान्सर अस्पताल भरतपुरमा विभिन्न जिल्लाबाट आएका बिरामीमध्ये फोक्सो, पाठेघरको मुख, स्तन, लिम्फ ग्रन्थी, पेटको, रगत, घाँटीको, मस्तिष्क, दिसा गर्ने नली र छालाको क्यान्सर प्रमुख रुपमा पाइएको छ ।</p><p>
विश्वमा हरेक वर्ष करिब एक करोड २० लाख नयाँ क्यान्सरका बिरामी भेटिने गरेका छन् । त्यसमध्ये ७० लाख व्यक्तिको मृत्यु हुने गरेको छ । <br><br><br></p>
<p>२८ असार, भक्तपुर ।<br>सरकारले भक्तपुरको चाँगुनारायण नगरपालिका–१४ र ११ मा रहेको ५६३ रोपनी सार्वजनिक जग्गामा अत्याधुनिक वीर अस्पताल बनाउने तयारी गरेको छ ।
</p><p>त्यस क्षेत्रको निरीक्षण आज गर्दै अर्थमन्त्री विष्णु पौडेलले उक्त जग्गा अस्पतालका लागि उपयुक्त भएकाले यही जग्गामा वीर अस्पताल बनाउन आवश्यक प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढाउन राष्ट्रिय स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठानका उपकुलपति गणेशमान गुरुङलाई निर्देशन दिनुभयो ।
</p><p>मन्त्री पौडेल, उपकुलपति गुरुङ, चिकित्सकहरुको टोलीले त्यसक्षेत्रको अवलोकन गरेको थियो ।
सरकारले बजेट भाषणमार्फत अन्तर्राष्ट्रियस्तरको अत्याधुनिक वीर अस्पताल बनाउने कार्यक्रम सार्वजनिक गरेको थियो ।<br><br></p>
<p>२८ असार, सप्तरी ।<br>सप्तरीको जमुनिमधेपुरा गाविसमा विद्युतको तार पोलबाट जमिनमा खस्दा एक बालक सहित ३ जना घाईते भएका छन् ।</p><p>बर्षाको कारणले गर्दा विद्युतकोे पोल कमजोर भई तार चुँडेर जमिनमा खस्दा स्थानिय १३ बर्षिय बालक रुपेश यादव गम्भिर घाईते भएका रे ४३ बर्षिय राजेश यादव ,३५ वर्षिय सुकदेव यादव र २० बर्षिय सरोज यादव सामान्य घाईते भएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सप्तरीले जनाएको छ ।</p><p>घाईतेहरुको उपचार गजेन्द्र नारायण सिंह सगरमाथा अञ्चल अस्पतालमा भईरहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । <br><br><br></p>

<p>The ruling main coalition partner, CPN (Maoist Centre), has called back its ministers from the government following the Centre's decision to withdraw support to the government. <br><br>A letter dispatched today by the Centre's chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to the PM said that the Centre pulled back its support to the government as it was not ready to implement separate nine-point and three-point gentlemen's agreements struck with the Centre before joining the government. <br><br>The letter also said that the Centre has also recalled the ministers from the government following its withdrawal of the support to the government. <br><br>The letter added that their withdrawal of the support to the government would pave way for the formation of a national unity government. <br><br><b>CPN (MC) informs Speaker about govt quit decision <br></b><br>The CPN (Maoist Centre) has informed the Parliament Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar that the party withdrew its support to the CPN (UML)-led government today. <br><br>The party leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara met Speaker Gharti at her office at Singh Durbar and handed the letter to her in this connection, said Gharti's press advisor Babin Sharma. <br><br><b>New government under Maoist Centre's leadership: Leader Mahara<br></b><br>Right after it withdrew support to the incumbent government, the CPN (Maoist Centre) has claimed that a new government would be formed under its leadership. <br><br>Organising a press conference in the Capital today a few hours after the Centre withdrew its support to the government, the Centre leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara claimed that the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) sent a letter to the Centre's chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, saying that it would back Dahal. <br><br>Mahara said that his party faced difficulties of moral values to continue in the present government as it was not ready to implement separate nine-and-three-point gentlemen's agreements reached with the Centre before joining the government. <br><br>He also claimed that the ruling CPN (UML) would agree on a national unity government. <br><br>An agreement has also been reached that the Centre will lead the next government until the first phase of the implementation of the constitution and the NC will lead in the second phase thereafter, he said. <br><br><b>Quitting govt will be costly for Maoist Centre: Information Minister Rai<br></b><br>Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai has said that the main ruling coalition CPN (Maoist Centre)'s move to quit the government would be costly for both the state and the party itself. <br><br>Speaking at a face-to-face at Reporter's Club in the Capital, the Minister said that this was not a good move for the Centre to quit the government just for the lure of getting the post of Prime Minister at a time when the country was moving ahead towards economic development and prosperity with the promulgation of the constitution. <br><br>However on the occasion, the Centre's leader Dev Prasad Gurung stressed the need for the formation of a national unity government for the development of the country. <br><br>Likewise, the main opposition Nepali Congress leader Chandra Bhandari emphasised the need for the NC to lead the next government in the capacity of a big party in the Parliament. <br><br><b>NC calls its CC meeting tomorrow<br></b><br>Nepali Congress has called its central committee meeting tomorrow.<br><br>The party called the meeting to discuss mainly the latest political course after the Maoist Centre withdrew its support to the UML led government.<br><br><br></p>
<p>The government is preparing to build an ultra-modern Bir Hospital in Changunarayan of Bhaktapur district.<br><br>Inspecting the allocated area today, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel instructed the vice-chancellor of National Health and Science Academy, Ganesh Man Gurung to forward the process of constructing the Hospital at the place.</p><p>Government had announced the plan of building ultra-modern Bir Hospital of an internal standard in the next budget.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br><br><br></p>
<p>A data has shown that number of cancer patients is increasing in Nepal of late.</p><p>According to the data of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur, Chitwan, currently there are more than 50,000 cancer patients in the country.</p><p>Although the country has no accurate and disaggregated data of cancer patients including annual incidents of cancer-caused deaths, roughly 30,000-35,000 new cancer patients are being afflicted from the disease every year in Nepal, states the statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO).</p><p>Hospital Chairman Dr Prakash Raj Neupane said that the number of cancer patients may go up in days ahead if the current situation persists.<br></p>
<p>Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asserted that reconstruction and constitution implementation were the two primary works of the government.<br><br>While inaugurating a workshop on herbal medicinal plants, honey, cold water fish and the NEDAC general assembly today, the Prime Minister stated that the constitution made by including the rights of all the communities is in the implementation phase. <br><br>Nearly 67 per cent of the country's population depends on agriculture and since the country is in the new phase of economic revolution, the economic development should be pursued parallel with the country's reconstruction, PM Oli said.<br><br>At the same program, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Poverty Alleviation, Chitra Bahadur KC said that the co-operative sector, which is one component of the three-pillar economic policy of the country, has played a significant role in the country's sustainable development. <br><br></p>
<p>Five people including three Nepali were killed when a passenger bus heading to New Delhi from Butwal met with an accident in Utter Pradesh in India yesterday, police said. Other 30 passengers were injured in the accident. <br><br>Police said that preparations were underway to bring the bodies of the Nepalis home.<br><br>The bus collided with an Indian truck in Bahraich district in India, police said. <br><br>A police team was sent to the accident site to inquire about the accident. <br><br><br></p>
<p>CPN (UML) senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal, has said that Nepal should be benefited from the Silk Road Project of China. <br><br>Talking to journalists upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport today after a week-long visit to China, leader Khanal shared that Nepal also should be benefited from the project. <br><br>He added that he had set out on China visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties with the neighboring country. <br><br>Leader Khanal also said that he had discussed with Chinese officials about the railway and roads as well.<br><br></p>
<p>The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) has made revisions to its existing procedures of hearings with reforms.<br><br>The committee made the changes and introduced reform to the hearing procedures based on the recommendation made by a sub-committee comprising Dr Ganesh Man Gurung, Ananda Prasad Dhungana and Anita Pariyar.<br><br>It is stated in the revised hearing procedures, which was presented in the committee's meeting today, that the person called to the hearing would be given 20 minutes for presenting his/her statement. <br><br>Likewise, the committee members would have to ask questions to the person depositing for the hearing within five minutes and centred on the complaints filed against the person. The members would be given additional two minutes for supplementary questions. <br><br>Committee member Dr Gurung said the committee will finalise all issues related to the procedure at its next meeting on July 14 and start the hearings in connection to the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court. <br><br></p>
