<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">नेपालगञ्ज ।</span><br></p><p>पशु क्वारेन्टाइन कार्यालय नेपालगन्जले आजदेखि ल्याव प्रयोगशाला सन्चालनमा ल्याएको छ । </p><p>देशभरी रहेका ८ वटा पशु क्वारेन्टाइनमध्ये नेपालगन्जको जमूनामा रहेको पशु क्वारेन्टाइन कार्यालयले पहिलो पटक ल्याव प्रयोगशाला सन्चालनमा ल्याएको हो । </p><p>प्रयोगशाला सन्चालनपछि भारतबाट अब स्वस्थ पशु र स्वस्थ मासु तथा दुग्धजन्य पदार्थ मात्र भित्र्ने कार्यालयका प्रमुख शंकर पाण्डेले जानकारी दिनुभयो । </p><p><br></p><p>ल्याव अभावमा यसअघि सुंगेर, हेरेर र छामेर मात्र भारतबाट खसीबोका, बाख्रा लगायतका पशु भित्र्ने गरेका थिए । </p>

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">बीरगञ्ज ।</span><br></p><p>अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले रौतहट जिल्ला अस्पताल गौरका आकस्मिक सेवाकक्षका इन्चार्ज प्रविण कुमार झालाई ठेकेदार सँग घूस मागेको आरोपमा रंगेहात पक्राउ गरेको छ । </p><p>अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोग क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय हेटौडाको टोलीले हेल्थ असिस्टेन्ट झालाई एक लाख रुपैयाँ नगद सहित रंगेहात पक्राउ गरेको हो । </p><p>जिल्ला अस्पताल गौर रौतहटको भवनको मरम्मत तथा रंङ्गरोगनको ठेक्का लिएका ठेकेदारसँग इन्चार्ज झाले घुस लिएको बेला अख्तियारको टोलीले निजलाई रंगेहात पक्राउ गरेको थियो । </p>

इयुद्वारा निर्वाचन पर्यवेक्षण मिसन परिचालन
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">काठमाडौं ।</span><br></p><p>युरोपियन युनियनले मंसिर १० र २१ गते हुने निर्वाचन पर्यवेक्षणका लागि निर्वाचन पर्यवेक्षण मिसन परिचालन गरेको छ । </p><p>काठमाडौंमा आज आयोजित पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा युनियनका प्रमुख पर्यवेक्षक जेल्याना जोभ्कोले दुबै चरणको निर्वाचनका लागि अल्पकालिन र दीर्घकालिन पर्यवेक्षणका लागि १ सय भन्दा बढी पर्यवेक्षकहरु परिचालन गरिएको जानकारी दिनुभयो ।</p><p>निर्वाचन प्रक्रियामा जनताको विश्वास अभिबृद्धि गर्ने, लोकतान्त्रिक प्रक्रियामा सघाउने उद्देश्यले निर्वाचनको पर्यवेक्षण गर्न लागिएको र पर्यवेक्षकहरुले मतदान, मतगणना एवं मतपरिणाम तालिकीकरणको पर्यवेक्षण गर्ने इयु प्रमुख पर्यवेक्षक जोभ्कोले बताउनुभयो । </p><p>निर्वाचनको पर्यवेक्षणको अनुमति पाउने अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय संस्थाहरुमा द कार्टर सेन्टर, युरोपियन युनियन, एसियन नेटवर्क फर फ्रि इलेक्सन (एन्डफ्रेल) र अनकावा इन्टरनेसन रहेका छन ।</p><p>यस्तै सिन्धुपाल्चोकमा आजै पत्रकारहरुसगँ कुरा गर्दै प्रमुख निर्वाचन आयुक्त डा अयोधीप्रसाद यादवले आगामी मंसिर १० र २१ गते संघीय र प्रान्तीय दुवै निर्वाचन एकैपटक हुने भएकाले यो निर्वाचन विशेष किसिमको हुने बताउनुभयो ।</p><p>प्रमुख निर्वाचन आयुक्त डा. यादवले निर्वाचनका लागि सुरक्षाको भरपर्दो व्यवस्था मिलार्ईएको हुदाँ निर्धक्क भएर मतदान गर्न आग्रह गर्नुभयो ।</p><p>निर्वाचनसम्बन्धी ६७ किसिमका सामग्री जिल्लामा पठाउनुपर्ने भएकाले केही पठाइसकिएको र बाँकी पनि चाँडै नै पठाइने बताउनुभयो । </p><p>त्यसैगरी उहाँले जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयमा जिल्लास्थित कार्यालयका प्रमुख तथा सुरक्षा निकायका प्रमुखहरुलाई निर्वाच्न शान्तिपूर्वक ढंगले सम्पन्न गराउन र आचारसंहिता उल्लङ्घनका घटना हुन नदिन निर्देशन दिनुभएको थियो । </p><p>जिल्लामा १४४ मतदानस्थलमा १८५ केृन्द्र कायम गरिएको र ३१ केन्द्र संवेदनशील भएकाले सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कडा पारिएको प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी असमान तामाङले जानकारी दिनुभयो । </p><p>त्यस अवसरमा मतदाता शिक्षकहरुलाई आगामी २५ गतेबाट प्रत्येक वडामा पठाइने जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालयका प्रमुख विजयकुमार कार्कीले जानकारी दिदनुभयो । प्रतिनिधि सभा २ र चार प्रदेश सभा रहेको जिल्लामा कुल दुई लाख २६ हजार ५४० मतदाता रहेका छन् । </p>
Polls become historic: CEC Dr Yadav
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayadhee Prasad Yadav has viewed that the upcoming House of Representatives and Federal parliament will be historic. </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Speaking at a press conference in Sindhupalchok today, Chief Commissioner Dr. Yadav also urged voters to exercise their franchise without any fear, as there will be smooth security arrangement. </p>
EU EOM officially launched
<div><br></div><div>The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) for the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies has been officially launched today.</div><div><br></div><div>At a press conference today, Chief Observer, Zeljana Zovko, a member of the European Parliament from Croatia launched the Mission. </div><div><br></div><div>On the occasion, Zovko said, it is a great privilege to have been given this opportunity to lead the EU Election Observation Mission to Nepal. The elections scheduled on November 26 and December 7 mark an important stage in Nepal's democratic development.</div><div><br></div><div>Zovko explained that the mandate of EU EOM is to observe all aspects of the electoral process and to assess the extent to which the elections are in compliance with the law of Nepal, as well as with international and regional commitments for democratic elections to which Nepal is a signatory.</div><div><br></div><div>The Chief Observer said that observers will visit all provinces, meet election officers, candidates and representatives of civil society and submit report to main team in Kathmandu.</div><div><br></div><div>She expressed her hope that election observers will maintain strict neutrality and impartiality in course of their work as they adhere to a strict code of conduct for international election observers.</div><div><br></div><div>The mission will be in Nepal until the completion of the electoral process.</div><div><br></div>
RPP unveils election manifesto, stressing on restoration of Sanatan Hindu State
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has unveiled its election manifesto amidst a programme today. </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Unveiling the document prepared in view of the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies, party chair Kamal Thapa said the party will adopt the 'Mahendra nationalism' of BP Koirala's national reconciliation policy, stating that ideologies of both national leaders are equally appropriate for the protection of national integrity, and sovereignty, for national security and unity. </p><p><br></p><p>He said restoration of the Sanatan Hindu State, democracy with constitutional monarchy and strengthened local governance system are the basic features of the election manifesto. The manifesto has underlined the need of adopting the people's elected prime ministerial system. </p>
Nepal to play ACC U-19 Youth Asia Cup
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Nepal is to take part in the ACC U-19 Youth Asia Cup to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>A 20-member cricket team, comprising 15 players, playing the cricket tournament organised by the Asian Cricket Council, returned home yesterday after playing three practice matches in Bangladesh in course of preparations for the Cup, said technical analyst Raman Shiwakoti. </p><p><br></p><p>Under the tournament, the Nepali team will play its opening match with Bangladesh on coming November 11 and it will face India for the second match on November 12.</p><p>Nepal and the host country Malaysia will be together for the final of the group match on November 14.</p><p>Nepal is in the Group 'A' of the Cup chart. Nepal was qualified for playing the tournament by winning the title of ACC U-19 Eastern Region Championship held in Malaysia last month. </p>
New revolution possible: Baidya
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) chairman Mohan Baidya has insisted on the need of a new revolution under the leadership of working class people, stating that such revolution is possible as well. </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Issuing a press statement on the occasion of the centenary of the 1917 October Revolution today, leader Baidya has urged labors to seriously move on towards the path for a new revolution for their rights. </p>
CEC Yadav urges voters to secure their votes
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has requested the political parties and voters not to involve in buying and selling of votes. </span><br></p><p>At a training organised by the Election Commission today, Chief Commissioner Dr. Yadav urged the political parties and voters to secure their votes. </p><p><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></p><p>Dr. Yadav also urged the district election officers to carry out activities for the deputation of human resources rising above the influence of trade union.</p><p><br></p><p>Joint-Secretary at the EC, Nabaraj Dhakal said that further training should be imparted to polling officers and assistant polling officers about the design of ballot papers and voting process.</p>
Stability and prosperity, top priorities of leftist alliance: Chair Dahal
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The leftist alliance has unveiled its election manifesto for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Organizing a press-meet in Kathmandu,CPN UMl chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN Maoist Centre chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda jointly made the manifesto public today.</p><p><br></p><p>Speaking in the program, Maoist Centre Chairman Prachanda said the leftist alliance has accorded its top priority to the stability and prosperity of the country. Chairman Dahal claimed the objective of the alliance between the party and CPN (UML) is to end country's political instability by forming a strong and a single communist centre and ultimately for achieving stability and prosperity. </p><p><br></p><p>Saying the manifesto has enlisted point-wise activities to be fulfilled within two, five and 10 years, he said per capita income of each Nepali will be increased to 5000 US dollar within coming 10 years. The alliance in its manifesto has forwarded a plan of making local-level empowered as well as developing the Kathmandu Valley as an integrated town.</p><p><br></p><p>Also speaking at the program, CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that election manifesto of the leftist alliance is a commitment to nation building.</p><p><br></p><p>At a news conference to unveil the election manifesto of the alliance today, Chairman Oli clarified that the manifesto has ensured nationality, democracy, unity, peace, stability and development. Leader Oli said, the manifesto is not only the election manifesto but it is the commitment to nation building. </p><p><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></p><p>He further said that no one should be afraid from electoral alliance and party unity between the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) as CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) had many times formed coalition government in the past. </p>
