Parliamentary committee directs Ministries to complete projects in time

<p>The meeting of the Development Committee under the Legislature-Parliament today directed the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development and the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport to complete the developmental projects in the stipulated time frame. &nbsp;<br><br>The meeting has urged the Ministries not to let undue influence occur in the developmental activities along with the change of the government and to make necessary arrangement to spend the full budget allocated for such projects.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br>Speaking in the meeting, lawmakers suggested finding out the inter-ministerial consensus on land acquisition and clearing forests as the projects faced this problem in the initial phase.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br>The committee President Rabindra Adhikari said that it was unfortunate to seeking political consensus in local and national level even in the implementation of development projects. <br><br><br><br></p>
