Improvement in women’s reproductive health stressed

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that harmful practices taking place in the society have an adverse impact on women's health.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Addressing the international conference of gynecologists in Dhulikhel today, President Bhandari expressed sadness over the reports of many women losing their lives untimely due to physical and mental violence, unsafe abortion and lack of health services.&nbsp;</p><p><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></p><p>She said that although the medical sector has been able to make remarkable progress in city areas, the rural areas are still deprived of basic health service. &nbsp;</p>
