<p>President Bidya Devi Bhandari today visited the famous Chhinnamasta goddess temple at the Chhinnamasta village in Saptari district and offered special worship.<br> <br>The President also paid homage at the Shiva, Narayan and Hanuman temples in the Chhinnamasta Temple complex. <br> <br>On the occasion, she also received 'tika' and 'prasad' of the special worship from the temple peethadhish Mahakanta Thakur. <br> <br>After the special worship, the President laid the foundation stone of the pavilion for the Shree Shree 1008 Lakshya Chandi Rudra Mahayagya, a grand religious fire offering ritual, being held for the first time in the country. The Mahayagya religious ceremony, organised to pray for world peace and human welfare, will start from March 29, 2017. <br><br>Addressing a special function on the occasion, President Bhandari said each and every citizen of Nepal, a country with religious, cultural and ethnic diversity, should be committed to peace and wellbeing of humankind without any prejudice.</p><p>She urged one and all to adopt the path of development, giving up the instability, discrimination and conflict that prevailed in the country in over the last two decades as it has done nobody good.<br> <br><br></p>
