Adikavi Bhanubhakta remembered

<p>The Bhanu Foundation has organized a programme at Nepal Academy today in commemoration of the contribution made by the first poet of Nepal- Bhanubhakta Acharya – to the development of Nepali language.</p><p>During the event held to mark Bhanubhakta's 203rd birth anniversary, various scholars, artistes and authorities, including the Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri, garlanded and offered flowers at the statue of the Adikavi Bhanubhakta on the premises of the Academy.<br><br>Also, Prof Dr Basudev Tripathi and film director Yadav Kharel were honoured in recognition of their contribution to Nepali language and literature.<br><br>The Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Uprety discussed on the contributions made by Bhanubhakta, one of the luminaries of Nepal.<br><br><br><br></p>
