Parliamentarians Raise host of issues in special hour

<p>The parliamentarians, both from the ruling parties and the opposition, speaking in the Special Hour in the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today, have drawn the attention of the government towards host of issues, including providing chemical fertilizers to farmers and grant to quake-survivors.<br><br>Referring to negligence of the contractors and under-quality construction of the projects of national pride such as Sikta Irrigation Project, they urged the government to put in place stringent monitoring mechanism to oversee such projects.</p><p>They also drawn the attention of the government to do something needful for flood and landside affected people and show early preparedness to minimize damages caused by the monsoon rain.<br><br></p>
