No possibility of STV system in National Assembly election: Chair Dahal

CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that party unification between CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) has reached the final step.

At a programme in Chitwan today he said that people’s mandate have already approved the unity between the two parties.

Saying that both parties would not backtrack from the decision to become one, the Maoist Centre chairman said.

There is no possibility of single transferable vote system in National Assembly election and it will be better if there is representation of Nepali Congress, which will remain in the opposition, he said.
