<p>CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stressed the unity among the people of hills, Tarai and mountain to strengthen nationality.</p><p>He claimed that people are getting attracted to his party for economic prosperity and national unity.</p><p>Speaking in a programme organized to welcome newcomers in his party in the capital city today, Chair Dahal shared that the Maoist Centre is fighting for the rights of Madhesi people. </p>
Energy Minister Thapa pledges to increase people’s access to electricity
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister, Kamal Thapa, has pledged to ensure the 35 per cent population's access to electricity.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Works were going on at the war-footing level through joint efforts of the Energy Ministry and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to provide electricity to the people who are still deprived of this facility. </p><p><br></p><p>In his address to a programme organised by the NEA regional office, Hetauda, today, DPM Thapa said the government had already called on the domestic and foreign investors to start their business in the sector of energy in Nepal as well. </p>
President stresses on development of safe settlement

Canadian ambassador to Nepal congratulates PM
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Canadian ambassador to Nepal Nadir Patel and non-resident ambassador of New Zealand to Nepal Joanna Mary Kempkers today met separately with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at PM's office in Singha Durbar, and congratulated him on Nepal's election to the member of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>On the occasion, issues relating to bilateral relations between Nepal, Canada and New Zealand were also discussed, said PM's foreign affairs advisor Dr Dinesh Bhattarai. </p><p><br></p><p>During the meeting, PM Deuba expressed hope that Nepal in the capacity of a UNHRC's member would get assistances from all member states. </p>
NRB effortful to retrieve money transferred by hackers
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, said that it is making utmost efforts to retrieve the money amounting to over Rs 400 million transferred to various banks abroad by hackers using SWIFT from NIC Asia Bank.</span><br></p><p>Some unidentified hackers broke into the Society for Worldwide Interbank Telecommunication (SWIFT), an international payment network, at the NIC Asia Bank in Kathmandu, and had siphoned off the amount from there during the Tihar festival.</p><p><br></p><p>Hackers were learnt to have transferred the amount to eight banks in six countries. </p><p>According to the Joint-Spokesperson at the NRB, Rajendra Pandit, NRB has asked the domestic banks to make efforts to retrieve the amount transferred abroad. </p>
German new ambassador commits assistance for Nepal’s development

PM hopeful of consolidated federal democracy after completion of elections

Achievements in post-quake reconstruction in three months: NRA new CEO
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Yubraj Bhusal has said that great achievements will be achieved in the post-quake reconstructions within the next three months. </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Talking to media-persons after assuming office today, he also pledged to release the second tranche of the housing grant for the people affected by the earthquake of April 2015 before monsoon starts this year, while focusing his entire energy on the reconstructions.</p><p><br></p><p>Saying the reconstructions are tasks to be done with cooperation, he stressed the need for all stakeholders and international donor agencies to work together in this regard.</p>
Necessary to disseminate news with positive message on elections
<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Election Commissioner Ila Sharma has urged the journalists to disseminate election-related news in a responsible manner as the democracy could be institutionalized through the dissemination of objective and credible news.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Inaugurating a training programme on 'election and communications' organized in the capital today, she also stated that the Election Commission has felt that the journalists have knowledge about the sensitivity of the election related news owing to the fact that professional development of journalism is taking place in Nepal. </p><p><br></p>

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">नेपालगञ्ज ।</span><br></p><p>आफ्नै प्रेमिकालाई ललाइफकाई मादक पदार्थ खुवाएर अर्धचेत बनाएर जबरजस्ती सामूहिक बलात्कार गरी अश्लिल भिडियो बनाउने एक ब्यक्ति पक्राउ परेका छन् ।</p><p><br></p><p>गत जेठ २ गते राति साढे ९ बजेतिर कोहलपुर नगरपालिका वडा नम्बर १२ का २२ वर्षका राजु बुढा क्षेत्रीले सम्झना भण्डारी (नाम परिवर्तन)लाई प्रेम गरेको बहाना बनाई ललाई फकाई जंगल लगेर कर गरेर बियर खुवाएका थिए । बियर खुवाएर अर्धचेत बनाएपछि साथिहरु बोलाएर सामूहिक बलात्कार गरी अश्लिल भिडियो बनाएको पाइएको छ ।</p><p><br></p><p>राजुसँगै साथीहरु स्थानीय १९ वर्षका दिपेश डाँगी र २० वर्षका सागर शाहीसमेत भै कोहलपुर जंगलमा युवतीलाई बियर खुवाई तीनै जनाले बलात्कार गरी अश्लिल भिडियो बनाएको भेटिएको छ ।</p><p><br></p><p>पीडित युवतीलाई बाँके कोहलपुर नगरपालिका वडा नं १३ सिम्री स्थित सामुदायिक जंगलमा लगेर राजु बुढाले सुरुमा आफूले बलात्कार गरेको र दिनेश डाँगी र सागर शाहीले मोबाइलबाट अश्लिल भिडियो बनाएका थिए ।</p><p>प्रहरीका अनुसार उनीहरुले त्यही भिडियो युवतीलाई देखाएर डर र त्रासमा पारी आफूहरुले पनि बलात्कार गरेका थिए । </p><p><br></p><p>सामूहिक अश्लिल भिडियो सार्वजनिक भएपछि प्रहरीलाई घटनाबारे जानकारी भएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय बाँकेका प्रहरी निरीक्षक वीरबहादुर थापाले बताउनुभयो ।</p><p><br></p><p>उनीहरुमाथि साउन १७ गते ईलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय कोहलपुरमा सामूहिक जबरजस्ती करणी मुद्दा दर्ता भएपछि संलग्न अभियुक्तहरु भागेका थिए । </p><p>प्रहरी टोलीले मुख्य अभियुक्त राजु बुढा क्षेत्रीलाई बर्दियाको बासगढी नगरपालिकामा लुकेर बसेको अवस्थामा पक्राउ गरेको हो । उनीविरुद्ध बाँके जिल्ला अदालतबाट म्याद थप अनुमति लिई अनुसन्धान कार्य भइरहेको प्रहरी निरीक्षक थापाले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।</p>
