Water level in koshi river increases

<p>Waters level in the Saptakoshi River has increased, following incessant rains in the eastern hilly region since Tuesday.<br><br>River's water flow was measured 161,425 cusec per second at 7:00 am today, Koshi Barrage Control Room technicians said.</p><p>Barrage's 22 gates are opened as water flow of the river continues to rise. &nbsp;<br><br>Sunsari's Police Chief Superintendent of Police Poshraj Pokhrel said water level is expected to further rise as the hilly region witnessed rainfall throughout the night.<br><br></p>
