Three killed, one missing in landslides

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Three people have gone missing when a local Newa rivulet swept them away at Phalelung Rural Municipality-3 in the district this morning. &nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>The missing are Bishnu Rai, his daughter Susmita and granddaughter, said a local Deependra Chauhan.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>According to Chauhan, they were first swept away by a landslide fell above their house and then washed into a swollen rivulet. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Battalion commander, Shivram Panta based Odin Battalion of the Nepal Army, said a joint team of Nepal Army, police and locals is searching for the missing. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Similarly, one person has gone missing in a landslide at Ward No 2 of Phalelung Rural Municipality and search operation is on.&nbsp;</p>
