Education Ministry deploys officials in local level

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The Ministry of Education has started to deploy its officials in the local levels including the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>The Ministry has forwarded the step to deploy the officials though the latter are demanding clarity on working stations and term of reference.</p><p><br></p><p>Ministry's spokesperson Dr Hari Lamsal said that the officials of education group will be sent to the local levels including the metropolitan cities, sub-metropolitan city, municipality and rural municipalities.</p><p><br></p><p>However, uncertainty looms large over the officials' deployment in the local level at a time when the existing District Education Offices are carrying out their functions like in the past.</p><p><br></p><p>The Constitution of Nepal has given the responsibility to the local levels to operate the schools up to the secondary level.</p>
