postpone the local polls in province no 2 for September 18 : EC

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Following the government's decision to postpone the local polls in province no 2 for September 18, the Election Commission has removed the Election code of conduct earlier in place for province no 2.</span><br></p><p>With the loosening of code of conduct, government proceedings like transfer, promotion, and appointment can continue without hindrance till another decision is made for the province&nbsp;</p><p>However, the election code of conduct is still in place for provinces 1,5,7 where local elections are taking place on June 28.</p><p>&nbsp;Meanwhile, Election Commission has urged the political parities not to use children during their election campaigns.</p><p>The Election Commission had sent letters to major politial parties reminding that using of children during election campaigns is against the election code of conduct.</p>
