DIG Silwal again moves SC against IGP appointment

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Nawaraj Silwal has again moved to the Supreme Court (SC), challenging the new appointment of Inspector General of Police (IGP). &nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>DIG Silwal today reached the apex court to file a writ petition against the government's Monday decision to appoint Prakash Aryal to the post of Nepal Police chief. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Silwal demanded in the writ that the Monday decision of the Council of Ministers to promote Aryal as the new IGP should be scrapped so as to appoint him to the post.&nbsp;</p>
