Dr Singh appointed dean of IOM

<p>Prof Dr Keshab Prasad Singh has been appointed Dean of Institute of Medicine (IOM) to be effective from today. <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>The meeting of the Office of Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University yesterday took a decision to this effect.</p><p>The appointment was based on a recommendation of the Dean Selection Committee. Along with Dr Singh Prof Dr Jagadhish Prasad Agrawal and Prof Dr Jyoti Sharma had also been recommended for the coveted post. <br><br>However, senior doctor at TUTH Gobinda KC, who previously launched strike at different times demanding reforms in medical sector, opposed to the appointment. He went a step further warning to launch his 10th fast-onto-death from today at 3 pm if the appointment was not corrected. <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>However, Dr Khaniya claimed that Dr Singh was appointed on the basis of seniority. <br><br><br></p>
