Nepal Army supports over 61.7 m to construct Dharahara

<p>Nepal Army (NA) has provided over Rs 61 million 713 thousand 783 to construct the Dharahara (Bhimsen Tower). <br>&nbsp;<br>The Dharahara was demolished in last year's Gorkha earthquake.<br><br>NA chief Rajendra Chhetri handed over a cheque of this amount today to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.<br><br>While receiving the cheque, PM Dahal thanked NA for its support to construct the Dharahara saying that the effort has conveyed positive message to all. &nbsp;<br><br>PM Dahal further shared that the government was also searching alternative resources to construct the Dharahara. <br><br>On the occasion, NA chief Chhetri while providing the cheque, said that the amount was collected from the NA rank and file aimed at contributing in national pride projects.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br></p>
