<p>Nepal Telecom (NT), the state-owned telecommunications provider, has got authority to expand the 'optical fiber network' to 32 districts along the Mid-Hill (Pushpalal) Highway.<br><br>The Company and Nepal Telecommunications Authority today signed an agreement towards this end in the presence of Information and Communications Secretary Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya. <br><br>The agreement that will remain in force for the next two years has given permission to the NT to install high-speeding optical fiber on 2,376 kilometers of area stretching from Chiwabhanjyang of Panchthar to Salyantar of Dhading. <br><br>Authority Chair Digambhar Jha and NT Managing Director Kamini Rajbhandari signed on the agreement on behalf of respective sides. <br><br></p>
