DoTM to take action against vehicles charging high fare

<p>The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) is to take action against vehicles, operating their service from Kathmandu to Sindhuli-Bardibas via Dhulikhel if they are found taking more than the determined transport fare.</p><p>The passengers have been complaining after the vehicles did not follow the fare adjustment made by the Department on February 7. <br><br>Department Spokesperson Basanta Adhikari said that the Department has received the complaint that the vehicles operating their service along the route have been charging double fare than the determined fare. <br><br>Preparations underway for a new people's revolution: Revolutionary Maoist Chairman Baidya <br><br>CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baidya has said that preparations were underway for a new people's revolution. <br><br>Talking to media persons in Butwal, he said that the newly promulgated constitution could not be accepted as it was a 'continuation of 1990 constitution based on rightist neo-reformism'. <br>At a program in Butwal today, he said that India would continue to show a hegemonic tendency towards Nepal until the past 'unequal' treaties are scrapped. <br><br><br></p>
