<p>Continuous rainfall has badly affected life elsewhere in the country.<br><br>Two people have died and some 900 households have been displaced due to the flood in Mechi, Ninda, Biring, Kankai and Ratuwa among other rivers in Jhapa district.<br><br>The deceased have been identified as Kali Bahadur Limbu, 64, of Goldhap-8 and Tekendra Khadka, 36, of Gauradaha in the district. <br><br>An 18-year-old Babulal Mardi, an Indian national permanently residing in Kumarkhod-4 of the district, have been missing and are believed to have swept by the flood, according to Nepal Red Cross Society, Jhapa.<br><br>The continuous rain resulting in the swollen rivers have displaced 900 households across many areas adjacent to rivers in the district.<br><br>The record keeping of the damages is underway, shared Nepal Red Cross Society Jhapa President Lokraj Dhakal. <br><br>Similarly,<br><br>Three people are seriously hurt and the fourth one is in critical condition after a landslide buried them in Sindhuli today.<br><br>Two of the injured have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment after they could not be treated at the District Hospital. <br><br>Preparations were being made to take Binda Kumari, who is in a critical condition, to Kathmandu on a Nepal Army helicopter. <br><br>The torrential rain and subsequent floods have displaced around six hundred families in Morang district and more than two dozen in Udaypur.
