<p>Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Kamal Thapa has said the local elections will take place with political parties' consensus. <br><br>Speaking at a press conference organized by Media Nepal in Chitwan today, DPM Thapa said the government is leaving the options open to hold elections in current scenario or after state restructuring. <br><br>He underscored the government's plan to seek consensual elections by taking in account the suggestions of the opposition party among other parties. <br><br>On a different note, DPM Thapa said the government has presented an ambitious budget for country's economic progress, and succeeded in maintaining historic relation and partnership with Nepal's friends. <br><br><br></p>
