<p>The government has distributed relief to 8,177 quake-stricken children till date. <br><br>The government in the eight months of the ongoing fiscal year distributed cash amounts to 6,375 children at the rate of Rs 5,000 per child and to 1, 802 children at the rate of Rs 4,000 per child. <br><br>The number of children affected by the earthquake is around 40, 036, as per a survey of the fiscal year 2072-73. <br><br>The government has also formed 22,457 child clubs across the country and facilitated its operation to secure meaningful participation of the children.<br></p>
