PM Cup Cricket-TAC starts with a win

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Tribhuvan Army Club has begun with a win in the first Prime Minister Cup Cricket tournament that began at TU Cricket ground in Kirtipur today.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>In the inaugural match, TAC defeated eastern region by 9 wickets. Batting first after winning the toss, eastern region posted a meagre 103 runs on the board losing all its wickets in 32.3 overs.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In reply, NAC surpassed the total at the loss of just one wicket in the 18th over.</p><p><br></p><p>In the match to be held tomorrow, Nepal Police Club will face the far-western development region. The winner of the tournament will walk home with Rs. 2 million while the runner-up will bag Rs. 1 million.</p>
