<p>The custody of Free Madhes Alliance Coordinator, Chandra Kant Raut (CK Raut), has been extended by 10 more days for ongoing investigation for organized crime against the state. <br><br>The Siraha District Court issued the order after demand for the same by Area Police Office, Lahan. <br><br>Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Raj Kumar KC, said the court order will facilitate the extension of Raut's custody and help in gathering more evidence against him. <br><br>During a mass meeting held at Lahan of Siraha on January 18, Raut had made a statement calling for splitting Madhes and turning it into a separate country, following which the police filed charges of organized crime against the state.<br><br></p>
