Shutdown partially affects life, 295 banda enforcers arrested

<p>The nation-wide closure enforced by Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN (Maoist) partially has partially affected life in the Kathmandu Valley and other parts of the country today. <br><br>Fewer public vehicles plied on the road, giving the commuters a hard time while all the schools and factories remained shut. <br><br>Nepal Police has said over 295 banda enforcers were arrested from across the country.</p><p>The cases of arsons were reported from Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Dharan, Thakre-3 of Dhading and Hariwan Municipality in Sarlahi. <br><br>Investigation into the arrested was underway and manhunt for those vandalizing the vehicles and absconding the scene continues, shared the police.<br><br><br></p>
