Minister Pokharel says trade unionism and politics unacceptable in schools

<p>Minister for Education Girirajmani Pokharel today charged that the educational sector of the country is falling into a state of disorder in name of trade unionism and politics and termed it unacceptable. <br><br>In an address during the inauguration of Janata Secondary School building at Tinkoni of Dhangadi Municipality – 5 in Siraha, Minister Pokharel referenced the recently amended Education Act with claims it was amended to prevent schools' from becoming a mess due to the prevalent trend among the teachers' to join political parties and not attend classes. He stressed on need to move forward by making the new Education Act a basis. <br><br>The new Education Act has ended anomalies in the education sector and envisioned transformation and reformation, according to the Minister who stressed that the schools should now stride forward through a new method. <br><br></p>
