<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Minister for Labor and Employment Farmullah Mansoor has, during his meeting with Ambassador of South Korea (Republic of Korea) for Nepal, Park Yong- Sik today, called on the South Korean Government to increase perks and facilities for Nepali migrant workers there. </span><br></p><p> During the meeting that was held at the office of Minister Mansoor, the ambassador was urged to open employment vacancies for Nepal's skilled and technical human resources such as doctors and engineers, increase quota for Nepali workers to be hired under the Employment Permit System, open vacancies for 'care giver' and expand the demand for female workers. </p><p><br></p><p>According to the Minister, during the meeting with the ambassador, he drew the attention of the South Korean Government towards increasing deaths and suicide rates of Nepali migrant workers there. </p><p><br></p><p>In response, the ambassador said he took the issues raised by Nepal seriously and would convey them to the South Korean Government. </p>
