NC President Deuba meets with UML Chair Oli

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called on CPN (UML) chairman KP Sharma Oli in Balkot of Bhaktapur today.</span><br></p><p>&nbsp;
The meeting dwelt on current political issues including that of holding local level elections by bringing disgruntled Madhes-based political parties on board, said Oli's private secretary Anish Dahal.&nbsp;</p><p>
During the meeting, Mr. Deuba urged Oli to help in the constitution amendment, an issue the Madhes-centric parties have been demanding as their precondition to join the polls, he said. 
</p><p>In response, Oli stressed the need for bringing new budget before the second phase of elections while committing to give a continuation for consultations for agreement and underscoring the need to seek solutions to the political stalemate through discussions with other political parties, Dahal informed.</p><p><br></p>
