National URBAN policy forthcoming : Minister KC

<p>Urban Development Minister Arjun Narsingh KC has said the National Urban Policy is forthcoming to systematise the urban settlement by ensuring basic facilities to urban denizens. <br><br>Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union, Morang chapter today, he informed that the government is&nbsp; planning to announce the "People's Housing Programme" under which 20,000 shelters will be constructed for the neglected community at lower level. <br><br>On a different note, the central member of the ruling partner Nepali Congress assured that the government will make no such decision against the interest of the nation.</p><p>He further said the NC is in favour of revising the constitution by incorporating the issues left out during its promulgation.<br><br><br></p>
