Police constable killed in road accident

<p>An armed police constable died in a road accident in the Nijgadh-Pathlaiya road section of the East-West highway today. <br><br>The deceased has been identified as Binod Babu Basnet, who was based at the APF base camp in Fulgama, Mahottari, according to the District Police Office Bara. Basnet died in course treatment at the National Medical College in Birgunj. <br><br>The accident took place as the motorcycle that he was riding was hit by a tractor coming from the opposite direction, police said.<br><br><br></p>
