Call to certify medical education act

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Prof Dr Govinda KC has called for immediate certification of the medical education act.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p>Speaking at a press conference here Monday, he warned of beginning a Satyagraha if the act was not certified within a week's time.</p><p>The Act was introduced through an ordinance by the cabinet on October 18.</p><p>The act is currently before the President for certification.&nbsp;</p><p>On the occasion, Dr KC also accused the government of depriving ordinary citizen's children from the opportunity of pursuing medical education, so as to serve the interest of some political party leaders.</p>
