International Maithili Conference to take place in Rajbiraj

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">International Maithili Conference is set to be held in Saptari district headquarters, Rajbiraj, on December 22nd and 23rd.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p>Maithili Literary Council of Rajbiraj is hosting the event at the call of International Maithili Conference Committee.&nbsp;</p><p>A joint meeting of the Indian Conference Committee office-bearers and former Presidents and office-bearers of the Council held at Rajbiraj decided to step up necessary preparations for the conferen.&nbsp;</p><p>Council Secretary Shyam Sundar Yadav informed that around 200 Maithili linguists, literary figures, campaigners and researchers from Nepal and India are expected to participate in the conference.</p>
