<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Election Commission (EC) has stated that the government has violated the election code of conduct by expanding cabinet.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Issuing a press release today, EC said the government’s decision to expand cabinet is against the election code of conduct as well as the seven point instruction issued to it.</p><p>The EC has urged the government to comply the seven point instruction in letter and spirit to ensure free, fair and impartial local elections.</p><p><br></p>
