<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">CPN (UML) chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) should begin its works following the integrated development modality. </span><br></p><p> While inaugurating the first municipal meeting of the Metropolis in the capital today, chair Oli argued that the Kathmandu Metropolis should develop a master plan following the integrated development modality by incorporating Lalitpur Metropolis and Bhaktapur Municipality as well. </p><p> Former Prime Minister Oli urged the Metropolis representatives to prioritize local cultures and heritages while conducting the developmental projects. </p><p><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span> On the occasion, Metropolis mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya unveiled a 19-point policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year 2017/18 in the first meeting. </p><p> The policy and programme includes economic prosperity, tourism development, establishing sister relations with various cities and clean the city campaign, among others. </p><p><br></p>
