Local Governance Bill-2073 BS tabled

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, has presented Local Governance Bill-2073 BS in today's meeting of the Legislature-Parliament.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>On the occasion, DPM Gachchhadar informed the meeting that the bill is brought to define the jurisdiction of rural municipalities and municipalities as well as the relation of local-level with federation and provinces. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Earlier, the meeting rejected the protest note brought by lawmakers —Prem Suwal, Dilli Prasad Kafle and Anuradha Thapa Magar, with majority.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>
