Constitution amendment bill will be taken forward: Chairman Dahal

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that constitution amendment bill registered in Parliament will be taken forward.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>At a parliamentary board meeting of the Maoist Centre at Singha Durbar today, Chairman Dahal said the bill should be forwarded for the sake of national interest.</p><p><br></p><p>Saying there is no alternative to bringing disgruntled parties including Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal on board the election by taking a final decision on the amendment bill, Chairman Dahal said that other forces will take benefit if the issue is not settled in a responsible manner. </p><p>He also stressed that all sides should be responsible for constitution implementation and holding elections.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The meeting also discussed other issues including the fielding of candidacy for the vacant post of chairperson of International Labour Relations Committee and members of other committee under the Legislature-Parliament.&nbsp;</p>
