Chief Justice Karki retires

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sushila Karki has retired today after she crossed the age limit of 65.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p>With her retirement, Gopal Parajuli will take charge as acting CJ from tomorrow.</p><p>The process to recommend Parajuli as CJ through a meeting of Judicial Council and push for a parliamentary hearing in this regard is yet to start due to various reasons.</p><p><br></p>
