‘Living martyr’ Mukesh Kayastha honoured

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Mukesh Kayastha, who is bed-ridden for 12 years now after being shot in the head by security forces during the People's Movement II, in 2007, was honoured today coinciding with the Republic Day.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>The Republic Day Organising District Main Committee honoured Kayastha, who is also known as the 'living martyr'. Kayastha is in a semi-conscious state.</p><p>Chief District Officer of Kavre district, Shiva Prasad Simkhada, local development officer Komal Dhamala and mayor of Dhulikhel Municipality Ashok Byanju honoured Kyastha at his house in Banepa Municipality.</p><div><br></div>
