Bharatpur hospital to be developed as teaching hospital

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The Bharatpur Hospital, the government hospital in Chitwan, is being upgraded into a state-of-the-art teaching hospital with 1,000 beds. Currently, the hospital is running Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing and Bachelor's in Nursing programmes.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>A meeting of the Hospital Development Committee held recently has approved a master plan and submitted it to the Ministry of Health for the same.</p><p>Chairman of the Hospital Development Committee Rajkumar Rajbhandari said that Rs 6.54 billion is estimated to be required to complete the entire task envisioned in the master plan.</p><p><br></p>
