Hearing on Silwal case on May 25

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The Supreme Court has set coming May 25 as the date for hearing on the case of Nepal Police DIG Nawaraj Silwal.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>The hearing was scheduled to take place today before an extended full bench including seven apex court judges.</p><p>The hearing was postponed after it was found that one of the judges was related to DIG Silwal, according to the Court Spokesperson Mahendra Upadhyaya.</p><p><br></p><p>The apex court is hearing a writ filed by DIG Silwal against the appointment made by the government to the post of the Inspector General of Nepal Police.</p>
