Election environment exciting-PM Dahal

<p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;">Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said the upcoming local election is taking place in an exciting environment. 
</span><br></p><p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;">Prime Minister Dahal said this after a discussion held at the Election Commission on various matters related to election preparation and challenges. 
The Prime Minister further said had there been no diligent efforts from the Election Commission for local polls, it would have been very tough to create public trust and excitement towards elections.</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;">&nbsp;He said that the proactive role of security forces has also not allowed any untoward activities to take place against the election. PM Dahal also said that the government is serious regarding the incident that occurred in Dolakha on Tuesday and has directed the authority concerned to investigate the incident. 
</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;"><b>NC President Deuba meets with UML Chair Oli</b></span></p><p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;">Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba met CPN (UML) chairman KP Sharma Oli in Balkot yesterday to discuss contemporary political scenario.</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;">&nbsp;
The meeting dwelt on current political issues including that of holding local level elections by bringing disgruntled Madhes-based political parties on board.During the meeting,. Deuba urged Oli to help in the constitution amendment.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="line-height: 18.5714px;">In response, Oli stressed the need for bringing new budget before the second phase of elections while committing to give a continuation for consultations for agreement and underscoring the need to seek solutions to the political stalemate through discussions with other political parties.</span></p>
