<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The Election Commission has used mobile vans to spread voter education in the Kathmandu Valley. </span><br></p><p><br></p><p>Three vans left the EC office spreading the message how voters could cast votes- ways to use swastika stamp, to fold ballot papers, and to select the election symbol. </p><p>Three vans left for three different cities- Patan, Bhaktapur and Balaju from the EC premises. </p><p><br></p><p>Chief Election Commission Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav launched the voter education through mobile vans amidst a programme. </p><p>He informed that there was an enthusiastic participation of people in the election programmes despite geographical difficulty, remoteness, and inconvenience of communication. </p><p> </p><p>EC Secretary Nawaraj Dhakal said 21,000 social mobilizers and teachers combined were fanned out across the country for voters' education. </p><p><br></p><p><b>CEC Yadab calls on PM</b></p><p><br></p><p>Chief Election Commissiner Ayodhi Prasad Yadab has informed Prime Minister Puspa kamal Dahal about the preparation for the first phase local local election.</p><p><br></p><p>During the meeting in Baluwatar today, the CEC told the prime minister that all election officials along with elections materials reached to the local level.</p><p>on the occasion, prime Minister Dahal said the government is committed to holding the elections in free and fair manner in whatever possible way.</p><p>The prime Minister also expressed his satisfactory over managerial readiness of the election commission for successful conduction of the election.</p>
