Inflation rate below 3 per cent: Central Bank

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The inflation rate during the first eight months of the current fiscal year has been &nbsp;recorded at 2.9 per cent.</span><br></p><p>Speaking on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the central bank Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Dr Chiranjibi Nepal said the country's inflation rate in the last fiscal year was in double digits, meaning the inflation has substantially decreased this fiscal year. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Governor Dr Nepal said that rise in agricultural production, regular supply of power and reduction in inflation rate in India contributed to low inflation in Nepal.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>
