<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and President Bidya Devi Bhandari held a meeting at president's office in the Sheetal Niwas today.</span><br></p><p><br></p><p>The duo discussed President Bhandari’s upcoming state visit to India and other contemporary issues.</p><p><br></p><p><b>PM calls for talks and dialogue</b></p><p><br></p><p>Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has urged the senior leaders of the Tarai-centric parties to avoid agitation and instead come to consensus and collaboration. </p><p><br></p><p>The call by the Prime Minister for a dialogue comes a day after the Madhesi Morcha, an alliance of Madhesh-centric parties decided to wage a movement after rejecting the second constitution amendment bill registered by the government at the parliament secretariat. </p><p><br></p><p>In a telephone call to the leaders today, Prime Minister Prachanda urged them to come to the negotiating table, according to the PM's press advisor Govinda Acharya. </p><p><br></p><p>Stating that local-level elections are the need of the nation, he urged the leaders not to give themselves to instigation and resolve national issues through talks and dialogue. </p><p><br></p><p>PM Dahal also drew attention of the leaders to focus on problem solving by joining the talks immediately after returning to the capital city. </p><p><br></p><p>In response, the top leaders of the Madhes-centric political parties expressed their readiness to join the talks, taking the PM's call positively. </p>
