Post offices employees to be mobilised as remittance deliverers

<p><span style="line-height: 1.42857;">The government is to mobilise the Postal Services Department to transport remittance to individual's (recipient's) doorsteps.</span></p><p>In an interaction programme organised by the Department today, Department Director General Suresh Adhikari said preparations are on to formulate a working procedure to mobilise employees of post offices as transporters of remittance received by the country.</p><p>Money received through the services of International Money Express (IME) will be reached to individuals' doorsteps via the Department and its district offices.</p><p><br></p><p>On the occasion, Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki pledged all possible support in implementing the Department plan to depute post office employees as carriers of remittance.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
