Int’l conference on Culture Diversity in Music Education kicks off

<p>An international conference on Cultural Diversity in Music Education has kicked off in Kathmandu from today.<br><br>Organized by the Nepal Music Trust and the Helsinki University of Netherlands, the four-day conference was inaugurated by senior cultural expert Satya Mohan Joshi.<br><br>n the occasion, Joshi underscored the need of music education and stressed on preserving various types of music and musical treasures of the country.<br><br>More than 130 musicians as well as music students and teachers from 16 countries including India, China and Japan, are taking part in the event to examine various theoretical and practical aspects relevant to the area of cultural diversity in music education.<br><br>Prof Heide Wosterland said that one can learn a lot about musical aspects in Nepal, a country of cultural diversity. <br><br><br><br><br></p>
