<p>Aged 7, Jawalakhel (E) (Name changed) residing in Sarlahi district of Madhuwan Goth V.D.C, Ward no.3 had been sexually assualted for a long period of time by Kailash Choudhary, aged 65 of Lalitpur district, Lalitpur sub-metropoiltan, Ward no.4.</p><p>He had been able to do so by giving the child money and foods in his own room. The last time the culprit attempted his sexual act was on Poush 9, 2073 at 2:00 pm in his own room where he made the child perform different acts which include handjob, oral sex and secretion in the child's mouth.</p><p>CWIN Helpline was made aware of this case via their toll free number i.e 1098. Besides this, with the help of Child Helpline, the victim's father filed a pedophilia case in Metropolitan Police Division, Lalitpur.</p><p>Further investgation was made by the police and medical treatment was provided to the child by CWIN helpline in MoDel Hospital. With the help of CeLLRD Nepal, the case was formally registered in the District Court on Magh 10.</p><p>Choudhary, 65 carried out many indecent sexual acts on the child on many different occassions, due to which the child was found vomiting. Choudhary was physically and sexually attracted to children rather than women.</p><p>On Chaitra 2, 2073, the judge Shree Bal Mukunda Dawadi of Lalitpur District Court declared ten and a half years imprisonment along with 50 thousand fine to the perpretrator Choudhary.</p><p>The notion that only women are the targets and get sexually violated has been changed to men being the victims of sexual abuse as well. The delusion that pedophilia cases only occur in foreign countires, has been proved wrong by this case and has shed light on such cases occuring in our very own country as well.<br></p>
