<p>CPN UML Chairman and former prime minister KP Oli has said the government should not be afraid of conducting the local polls scheduled to be held on May 14.</p><p>Speaking at a press meet organized in Banke today, Oli has said it would be undemocratic of the government decides to halt the local polls due to mounting pressure from any party.</p><p>He stated that it will only benefit the political parties that are opposing the local polls if the government presents itself in a weak manner.</p><p>Talking about his party's possibility of joining the government, Oli said the CPN UML will not think about being part of the government prior to the local poll.</p>
