RPP General Convention: Amendment proposal tabled

<p>A statute amendment proposal was tabled at the closed session of the unity general convention of Rastriya Prajatantra Party underway in the capital today.<br><br>Party Vice-chair and statute amendment committee coordinator Buddhiman Tamang tabled the proposal at the convention taking place in Bhrikutimandap.</p><p>Deliberation on the proposal is underway now.<br><br>A 161-member central committee including a Chair has been proposed in the amendment.</p><p>Another 24 office-bearers will be nominated by the Chair from among the central members.</p><p>The future ideology and strategy of the party is also being discussed.<br></p>
