Preparations complete for Shivaratri festival in Pashupati

<p>The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) has stated that it has almost completed the preparations for Mahashivaratri, a major Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Shiva.<br><br>The preparations for the festival that falls on February 24 are in the final stage, according to Govind Tandan, member-secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust.</p><p>The Trust has formed different nine subcommittees for the same as well. <br><br>According to the Trust, such committees were formed for the security arrangement, health camps and traffic management as well. <br><br>The Trust is expecting some 1.3 million visitors this year from Nepal and neighboring countries as well.<br><br></p>
